Sometimes it takes a nudge to convince a person to follow their passion. Such was the case of Realtor, Nichol MacKenzie.
“I have always been interested in real estate and houses...from selling, to interior and architectural design,” MacKenzie says. “I love helping people and enjoy the hunt of finding the perfect home.”
But MacKenzie spent 10 years as a bartender at a higher-end restaurant. It was interaction with customers that convinced her she had another calling in life.
“I met tons of people, including agents, and just fell in love with the idea of helping people make one of the biggest decisions of their lives,” she says.
Carefully navigating that difficult decision can be stressful. That’s why MacKenzie takes her job so seriously. After all, she’s been there.
“I genuinely do have a love for helping people,” she says. “I learned a lot when buying my own home, and would love the opportunity to help someone make that same important decision.”
MacKenzie gives special care to military families. An armed-forces spouse herself, she understands the hurdles in front of those arriving and leaving the Fayetteville area.
"I love my family and my kids come before all else, so i know how important it is to find the perfect house you can call home for you and yours."

Nichol has been very helpful and easy to work with with our purchase. She has answered any time we have needed her and been outstanding with working through purchasing while we are out of state.
We stumbled upon Nichol while wandering around looking at houses. And I will never be more grateful for that day. Since then she has been a life saver and just truly amazing. Our situation was rather difficult but she took it with no question. And helped us find a house. She has exceeded every expectation, and gone above and beyond to help make this move and transition as smooth as possible. I highly highly reccomend!
Nichol was our listing agent to sell our house, and my wife and I could not have found a better agent. She always returned our calls and texts in a timely manner, and always gave us good advice. It really felt like she was doing everything she could for us. Nichol knows the surrounding area and neighborhoods really well. She went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent listing and due to her hard work, we had multiple requests for showing just hours after the house went on the market.
If I was buying or selling a house in the Ft. Bragg area, I would ask Nichol to be my agent. If I had any friends or family in the area who were buying or selling I would recommend them to Nichol. Just not enough good things to say.
