When it comes to experience, Sharon Wilson has professional and personal skills most Realtors can’t match. She’s been in the business for more than 17 years, has served her country and has a close connection to the community in which she sells. Most importantly, she loves helping clients navigate the bumpy waters of buying or selling property.
“I love meeting new people, and I know how much stress buyers and sellers are under,” she says. “My job is to make it less stressful and allow them to rely on my professional opinion to satisfy their needs.”
Wilson has been a Real Estate Broker for Coldwell Banker for five and a half years, obtaining a GRI designation. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Management and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing. She is a former Army officer (Airborne) and the daughter of an (retired) Army lieutenant colonel and sister of an (retired) Air Force colonel, so she understands the difficulty facing military families moving to our community. Also, being that her mother a retired EEO trainer for the U.S. Government and military spouse, she is definitely aware of the needs of a military family.
“I believe my professional experience stands out in front of many Realtors,” she said. “I care about my demeanor, knowledge and know my contracts well. I understand clients’ needs by listening and then I develop a plan to get them in a home or help them sell.”
Wilson is also active in the community. She served as a judge for the area’s 40 under 40 awards for the past three years and also has volunteered as a financial/budgeting speaker for the department of social services’ foster children’s program. She is active in a graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., in support of the Fayetteville/Fort Bragg community, and served on the initial steering committee for Fayetteville’s annual Lupus Walk.
She works tirelessly for her clients, so only truly relaxes when she is traveling abroad. She also enjoys golf, bowling, reading (Let’s talk book club since 1999), and boating.
