Gary Barrett is a Broker Associate with 41 years of experience in real estate sales and new home construction in Fayetteville and surrounding areas. Gary graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Engineering, received his NC General Contractor’s License in 1990 and has built over 25 custom homes in the area. His skill set includes specialized training in listening and negotiating with a certification to teach “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”.
Gary learned as a teenager working on a farm in Harnett County and in a local hardware store the value of hard work and the “Golden Rule” that continues to serve him well. Barrett is actively involved in his church,
as a Deacon and leading Bible Study Groups and is affiliated with the Carolina College of Biblical Studies. He and his wife Rita of 46 years have raised their family of 3 children in Fayetteville.
Gary has had extensive experience with the military at Fort Bragg having served as the Chief of Maintenance and Construction for Family Housing and retired as the Director of Business Transformation after 15 years with the US Army Special Operations Command. He takes great pride in taking care of Soldiers and Families. All of Gary’s clients are recipients of his many years of real estate experience, attention to detail and resolve to exceed their every expectation.
