I fell in love with Pinehurst 20 years ago. I visited the Country Club through New York Athletic Club (NYAC) golf outing. Everything about Pinehurst celebrates the history and traditions of American golf. It was in love at first sight. I found reasons to entertain my clients at Pinehurst. There is nothing grander than strolling the fairways of Pinehurst No. 2 with a guest in the name of business. Later my wife joined me in a NYAC outing, we both competed in a tournament on Pinehurst No. 2, played through a March rainstorm. She actually won a “putterboy” for her efforts and my undying admiration. She also became infatuated, encouraging my affair with beautiful Pinehurst. My love for Pinehurst only grew stronger. My wife and I were blessed with a daughter, at age three she began golfing. We vacationed at many fine resorts. Nowhere did we find a club and a community as gracious and special as Pinehurst. In 2001 I consummated my relationship with Pinehurst, buying a home and becoming a member. Not only did Pinehurst provide me with a great golf club, but also a wonderful community for my entire family. I consider myself very lucky to have found Pinehurst.

We were lucky to stumble upon Bob at the PinehurstGeorge P. Lane Welcome Center a few years ago. His personality and expertise stood out so much that, two years later when we decided to buy, we called him up. Bob helped us narrow down the Pinehurst neighborhoods that would appeal to our lifestyle and price point. He helped us navigate two different offers (one we ended up not going forward with due to structural challenges). In the end we won the right house and at the right price! In the last 7 years, I’ve rented two homes then purchased and sold two homes with Bob. I’ve also asked Bob to track down information on more than a few obscure pieces of property. Bob is fantastic! I have a very secure feeling when Bob’s in my corner helping me buy & sell. I’ve recommended Bob to several people including my mother who has also bought and sold several homes with Bob. We met Bob seven years ago when we were looking for a Pinehurst home. He took the time to listen to our desires and quickly showed us suitable properties. We enjoyed our property for seven years and when we decided to sell we used Bob as our listing agent. He treated us as if we were his only client. He is very knowledgeable and very respectful of our opinions. Once we had an offer on our property, he went the extra mile after our inspection by both coordinating the punch list and doing much of the work himself. While the property was listed he also gave us constant updates of showings, feedback and had a number of open houses. I would highly recommend Bob. He is a true, dedicated professional.

Bob was there for us from the beginning, willing to meet with us, show as many homes as we wanted and talk us off the cliff when we were ready to jump because of the endlessly demands of the mortgage company. He is a great ambassador for the area, knowledgeable and positive. We closed on our house the day that hurricane Matthew hit. The delivery of our refrigerator was delayed due to the flooding in the area. We had to fly back to Boston, so Bob met the delivery and facilitated the install of the refrigerator. He has also connected us with a handyman who is willing to do needed tasks around the house. It made us feel secure that there was someone looking out for our home and helping every step of the way.
