My family has come to the Pinehurst area regularly since 1968 as a vacation destination from our homes near Chicago, IL. In 2005, my husband and I bought a home here but it was not until January 2017 that I was able to relocate and start my Permanently in Pinehurst life.

I have a BA from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. I hold a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from DeVry Institute (formerly Keller School of Graduate Management).

I have held a Real Estate License for 26 years. I recorded the first $1 Million single family home sale in the Hyde Park Kenwood neighborhood, home of the University of Chicago, in 1991. In 1997, I was named a Vice President of LaSalle Bank (now B of A) and became their Wealth Management Lender. For over 7 years I originated and underwrote in excess of $700 Million in Mortgage Loans. This exposed me to thousands of appraisals, surveys, title searches, and deepened my understanding of the real estate market. I have also renovated and sold two vintage homes and two mid-century homes since then, while working with clients buying and selling at all price points. 

Starting in 2005, I volunteered for AFS, the Foreign Exchange Student program, and we have welcomed 7 children, each from a different country, into our home for various school years. I was the Support Coordinator for Greater Chicago, with the responsibility of the health, welfare, and conduct of the 65-70 students we brought to the area each year. I chaired the Hinsdale Village Caucus for several years and was instrumental in clarifying and improving the by laws of this near century old organization. I was active with the Robert Crown Center for Health Education, and helped form 100 Women for Robert Crown.

I was a Coldwell Banker Broker in Hinsdale, IL, and sat on the Valuation Committee, as 1 of 7 agents invited from a 245 agent firm. We toured, then forensically priced properties that were not commanding attention in the market, poured over market materials, suggested alterations, and supported our fellow agents and their clients to get to a sale. It is critical to understand what dollars are chasing in the market and bracket your property correctly to get the most attention possible. Preparation—getting the property ready to be photographed and viewed—is my specialty; Presentation-photography and marketing materials-is my strong suit; and I insist on accurate Pricing to drive traffic. 100% of my listings in 2016 sold, 2 under contract in just 4 days apiece. When working with buyers, my knowledge of the market, and of refurbishment and renovation is invaluable for spotting opportunity for you.

I hold the GREEN designation from the NAR, the result of extensive study pertaining to today’s green building practices. I installed a geothermal system and tankless hot water heater here.

I am a golfer with a handicap in the high 20’s, and hope to get it down to 18—bogey golf! I have 2 rescue dogs, who thoroughly enjoy scampering through the acres here after life in the suburbs on leashes. I endow a small scholarship at my College each year so a student can take an internship, instead of a paying job, for the summer. This year my student is in Uganda traveling from village to village introducing best practices for health. I am in awe of this young lady’s drive.
